A SCHOOL bus carrying pupils to a Northwich school was involved in a serious collision with a motorbike at 8am on Wednesday.
The 10 Weaverham High School pupils escaped injury when the double decker bus they were travelling on was involved in the collision at the junction of Forest Road and Ash Road in Cuddington but the 38-year-old motorcyclist from the Chester area was taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital with serious injuries.
A spokesman for Cheshire County Council said: "A replacement vehicle took the pupils to school and they were checked over at the scene by paramedics as a safety measure."
