SO John Prescott has quite rightly turned down the Brunner Mond housing estate (sorry urban village).
What is Brunner Mond's first response? Same as last time, issuing threats regarding jobs.
The other thing that came to light in Prescott's report was that he liked the urban village. Well, so do we all but not in the place suggested.
What Brunner Mond should now be made to do - yes made to do - is return the land to its original state of 100 years ago before they and their predecessors reduced it to its current mess.
