BAD weather doesn't stop gardeners, or so it seems.
Despite the cold, over 40 people supported the recently formed Weaverham and District Gardeners Group fun quiz at Weaverham Wallerscote School.
The Garden Herbs team, represented by Jean Ross, Pat Sinnott, Pat Daffern and Margaret Mitchell emerged the winners.
Five new members joined the group, which is taking a break over the festive season and meets again on January 25 to listen to a talk by Tom Acton, one of the region's top gardening professionals, who for many years was head gardener at Arley Hall.
Prospective new members will be very welcome.
