WARRINGTON North MP Helen Jones has reminded those aged over 70 that their households should receive an extra £100 on top of winter fuel payments this year.
The winter fuel payment awards all households with someone aged over 60 £200, and those over 80-years-old £300.
Pensioners automatically receiving winter fuel payments are receiving information about rebates on council tax bills, and Mrs Jones is urging those who have not claimed to do so.
