A FESTIVE spectacular came to Frodsham on Friday and Saturday as reindeer led the way into a Christmas festival in the town.
Santa and his helpers flew into Frodsham to make the town's second Christmas festival an occasion to savour.
Organisers staged a series of activities during the two-day event with attractions including a traditional Christmas market, street entertainment, fairground rides, live music from local school choirs and bands, art workshops, Santa's grotto and real live reindeer.
Delighted
A spectacular firework display that took place over the hills above Frodsham and Helsby on Saturday night signalled the end of the Christmas extravaganza.
Clr John Grimshaw, lead councillor for leisure, said he was 'absolutely delighted" that Vale Royal Borough Council had once again supported the event.
Rob Crowther, chairman of the local Economy Thematic Group, added: "Frodsham Forward's support for this Christmas Festival is providing a gateway for all sectors of the local economy to prosper."
