DESPITE a hat trick from man of the match Alex Cunningham, Runcorn lost this incredible 11-goal thriller.
It was end-to-end stuff right from the first minute with never any more than one goal in it, although Mountfield were never behind in the 90 minutes.
Although disappointed with the result, manager Paul Cummins was delighted with his team's effort.
Paul said: "We seemed to have virtually all of the play but Mountfield gave us a lesson in finishing, scoring with every chance they made".
Other Runcorn goals came from Jay Highton and Danny Cummins.
