BRIDGE Timber eased through to round two with a 3-1 win at Redmonds.

Manager Alan Cunningham turned out while new signing Lee Evans came in at left back.

Wilcox hammered home Ste Coady's quick free kick, after Ste Johnson had been brought down 40 yards from goal.

With David Lunt a constant threat down the left and Vaughan's tireless running in midfield it was no surprise when Johnson set up Richie Jones to make it 2-0.

Redmonds started the second half better and got a goal back from a 30-yard free kick.

The Bridge defended well with Tymoszycki and Coady both commanding and Lee Evans linking up well with Lunt.

With 10 minutes left Jones found Timber's man of the match Gary Vaughan whose neat flick made it 3-1.

Next week Bridge entertain Q's Tavern in the Runcorn cup quarter final.
