THE junior Wolves put in a lacklustre performance at home to Widnes following the previous week's commendable draw with St Helens.
An organised and defensively strong Widnes outfit scored a try in each half.
Hopefully, the Wolves can learn from this performance before the repeat game at The Halliwell Jones Stadium on Boxing Day. It will be a curtain-raiser to the first team friendly.
