RYLANDS played good football in muddy conditions to claim a deserved Mid-Cheshire Soccer League first division win against a physical Lynotype/Cheadle side.
Ste Bird scored a stunning 30 yards free kick to give Rylands the lead on 15 minutes.
Frank Bird then conceded a penalty to let Linotype back into the game before Gallop latched on to Cross' delightful delivery and lobbed the ball home and secured the spoils.
Rylands are on the road again at the weekend. They travel to high flying Garswood United.
