STUBSHAW Cross Labour are four points clear in Earlestown Town Furnishings Snooker League after their latest victory.
Paul Cunliffe, M Morgan, Dave Fairclough and E Conway put them 4-0 ahead against Haydock Catholic B and they eventually won 4-2.
In joint second place are Haydock Reading Room A and Bryn Labour. Haydock were beaten 4-2 by St Pats and Bryn were 4-2 winners against Bank Street, who had only five players.
Golborne Catholic beat Newton Social B 5-1 and Newton's only winner was Alan Cliffe.
Haydock Catholic A beat Earlestown Cons 5-1 and it was little consoation to A Swift that he was the only Earlestown Cons winner, against S Lyon.
Beer Engine had the last three winners to turn over North Ashton 4-2. Engine's key winners were Steve Rampling, Mathew Lawrenson and John Moran.
Viaduct lost 4-2 against Haydock Reading Room B, who had the last three winners in Tony Waters against Alan Johnson, Paul Morris versus Jeff Burke and Dave Roberts against Kenny Hollis.
Newton Social A won 5-1 against Garswood Labour and their only loser was Andy Moorhouse.
