GENEROUS shoppers at Bents Garden and Home have raised a record-breaking amount for charity.
The Glazebury-based garden centre has raised £7,400 for Marie Curie Cancer Care throughout the year through a variety of methods.
Matthew Bent, managing director, said: “We are absolutely overwhelmed with the generosity of our customers this year, it is the largest fundraising total we have ever had.”
Anne-Marie Wynne, from Marie Curie Cancer Care, said: “We are amazed by the achievement of the staff and customers this year.
“The money will be put to good use providing home nursing care for terminally ill patients.
“We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has played a part.”
