GREAT Sankey High School has received a letter from the minister for schools congratulating pupils and staff on their key stage four results in the 2009 achievement and attainment tables.
The results, published at the end of January, showed that the Barrow Hall Lane school was among some of the top performing.
Vernon Coaker said: “Please pass on my thanks and congratulations to your pupils, staff and governors for their hard work and success and I send my best wishes for continued improvement in the year ahead.”
