THERE has been an increase in vandalism to bus shelters in Old Hall and at Chapelford.
Stops at Gregory Close and Tasman Close, on Twenty Acre Road, and the bus stop at Hudson Close, and on Old Hall Road, have been subject to criminal damage including glass smashing.
Bus shelters on Boston Boulevard, next to Manhattan Gardens near Burtonwood Road, have also been targeted.
CSO Richard Unsworth said: “The damage to bus shelters are acts of simple-minded vandalism that affect the whole community. The glass that remains after a shelter has been smashed is a danger to all members of the public but especially children and pets.”
To report vandalism, call Cheshire police on 0845 458 0000 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
