FIVE Bridgewater High School pupils will embark on a South African adventure.
Year nine teenagers Helen Young, Natasha Goodacre and year 10 students Laurence and Ralph Sparks and Connor Simpson, along with three teachers will be going to Johannesburg, on Saturday for eight days.
The group will be visiting Forte High School, the school’s partner establishment in Soweto, to develop a mutual understanding of each other’s cultures and education systems.
They will attend lessons and work on a number of scientific projects related to Bridgewater’s eco-gardens.
The students will also visit the Apartheid Museum and Nelson Mandela’s former home.
