Birchwood spread word like wildfire
BIRCHWOOD residents have been spreading word of the next public meeting regarding plans to change Birchwood Fire Station from running 24/7 to being run by part time firefighters at night.
Campaigners Lesley Marshall, Lynne Greenhalgh and Clr Russ Bowden (pictured) have been leafleting the area as well as wearing their 'I want it 24/7' t-shirts to make people aware of the consultation at The Centre, Birchwood Park tomorrow at 6.30pm.
