THREE young friends from Penketh spent 10 hours tied together to raise money for St Rocco’s.
Twins Abi and Tansy Barker, aged 10, who attend Great Sankey Primary School and next-door neighbour Great Sankey High School pupil Ellie Mai Moore, aged 11, of Sandy Lane, raised £100 for the hospice after spending from 8am to 6pm strapped together last weekend.
Ellie Mai’s mum Michelle Latimer said: “My mum was diagnosed with bowel cancer last November and it has spread to her liver and lungs so my daughter wanted to do something to raise money for cancer sufferers.
“I’m really proud of them.”
