ANDY Warhol once said that, one day, everyone would have their 15 minutes of fame.

Well, over the past 155 years the Warrington Guardian has given thousands of people their moment in the spotlight and now we are looking to trace some of those ‘local stars.’ For our birthday edition in September we want to reunite our readers with their favourite stories from the past by putting together a collection of updates on those people who have appeared in print.

“At the moment there is a lot of doom and gloom around so we are really looking for positive or heart-warming stories about the people of Warrington,” said commercial features editor Andrew Moores.

“So many people have appeared in the Guardian over the years so there should be no shortage of interesting updates.”

We want to hear from you if there was an interesting development to your story after you appeared in the paper or maybe something happened to you as a result of appearing in the Warrington Guardian.

If you have the picture that was taken of you by a Guardian photographer and one of you now, then send that to us as well.

Your stories will form part of our birthday edition, which will mark the Warrington Guardian’s 155 years of delivering news to the town via our newspaper and now our website too.

We also want to hear from you if you are celebrating a birthday of any great significance this year. If you are turning 100 (or know anyone who is) in September or have an inspiring story that relates to your birthday then get in touch.

Email andrew.moores@guardiangrp.co.uk if you would like to appear in our birthday edition. We cannot guarantee that everyone’s story will be published but all suggestions will be considered.

All pictures will be featured on our website warringtonguardian.co.uk
