POLICE are hunting a Lowton man wanted in connection with a burglary in Knutsford last December Officers are keen to speak to 51–year–old Stephen Ashurst about the break–in at the house on Ashworth Park, which happened during the early evening and saw a quantity of jewellery stolen.
The occupants were not at home at the time.
Police would also like to speak to him about a number of other burglaries across the county and are urging him to make contact.
Anyone who knows the current whereabouts of Ashurst is also asked to contact the police immediately.
A police spokesman said: “While it is not believed that Ashurst poses a direct threat to the public, the advice would be not to approach him but contact the police immediately.”
