FRESH from their sell out support gig at Warrington's Parr Hall (supporting the Clone Roses), The Forge, with their eclectic approach to music writing, are creating varied and unique sounds, spanning genres, and using influences from the 60's to today's modern sounds.

With their love of music, and a liking for a dirty party lifestyle, The Forge are taking the unsigned scene by storm, having played in front of hundreds at the best venues that Manchester and Liverpool have to offer, including the Roadhouse, Barfly, the Cavern, Dry Bar and Moho. Jon Farrell (vocals), Gaz White (lead guitar), Joe Caldwell (guitar), John Gaunt (drums) and Andy Holder (bass), from Stockton Heath and Appleton, were spurred on by the response of their first demo and have currently just completed their follow up, but the song writing hasn’t stopped there.

Armed with a massive catalogue of songs, an amazing following and their musical talent, The Forge are now aiming for the top, with the belief they will get there.

On August 9 the band will be playing at The Ruby Lounge, in Manchester's trendy Northern Quarter. For more information, or to enquire about tickets or transport, check out www.myspace.com/theforgemusic or email the band at the_forge_management@hotmail.com. They would like to hear from you!
