THERE is a casual vacancy for a councillor on Penketh Parish Council, representing the east ward.
Nomination forms are available from the reception at the Town Hall and a by-election will take place on Thursday, August 14, providing nominations are received by 12pm on Friday, July 18.
The last day for registration to vote at the election and to arrange a postal vote is Wednesday, July 30 at 5pm.
Penketh Parish Council has agreed that electors in the ward will not receive poll cards.
