GULLIVER’S World is celebrating its 30th birthday this weekend.
To mark its third decade of providing family fun, the Westbrook theme park is throwing a special birthday mascots’ tea party on Sunday.
Gulliver’s was opened in 1978 by Ray Phillips, who decided to open a model village for his young children to enjoy in the spa town of Matlock Bath.
Today, Gulliver’s is managed by Mr Phillips’s children, Julie and Nick, and has continued to grow with four parks dedicated to offering the perfect day out for families with children aged two to 13.
