A FAMILY-based programme that aims to get children as much time as possible with divorced or separated parents has been recognised nationally.
Families Together is run by The Relationships Centre, a town centre charity.
It has been recognised by the National Parenting Strategy Team.
“I was delighted with the progress of the project and to hear the difference that you are making,” said Jay Koike of the families policy, development and delivery team for the National Parenting Strategy Team.
Marissa Hankinson, from the Relationships Centre, added: “The Families Together project allowed us to help both parents to understand the effect on children and how by working together they can help their children to cope.”
