A PERVERT who was aroused by the sound of women urinating has been released from custody with a strict warning from the judge.

Gary Cleary aged 34, of Ulverston Avenue, Orford, breached his sexual offences order by going within 250 yards of public toilets in England and Wales.

On Friday, Warrington Crown Court heard how Cleary had been ejected from the Lord Rodney pub, on Winwick Road, on March 3, after going back and forth to the women’s toilets. He had been drinking heavily and had been listening to them urinate.

He was told to leave after a staff member found him.

He then went into the Golden Lion, on Knutsford Road, where he tried on a pair of high heeled shoes.

The incidents came to light after Cleary called his social worker admitting what he had done.

The man who has a string of convictions for indecent exposure had been on remand for 118 days after appearing before Chester Magistrates for two further offences of exposure.

Judge Elgan Edwards made a guardianship order under the mental health act for Cleary.

The order means that a person will take action or make decisions on behalf of the defendant. He said: "This sort of conduct has got to stop.

“This is a sexual prevention order where you are not to go anywhere near ladies and there’s some worrying trends.

“You have got to stop behaving like this otherwise you are going to get into serious trouble.

“If you do this again or get into any worse trouble you will serve longer and longer orders. I hope this order will help you. Don’t do it again.”
