RONNIE the dog is certainly barking about bikes.
The Jack Russell, terrier cross pooch loves nothing more than hopping on the back of owner Glenn Young’s motorbike and going for a spin.
The motor-mad mutt has travelled more than 2,000 miles in a purpose-built compartment that lets him ride pillion with his owner and he even gets to look the part with his skull and crossbones bandana and his goggles.
Mr Young said: “Ronnie has to be one of the nation’s top barking bikers as there aren’t many places I have visited without my favourite riding partner.
“Positioning him on the back of my BMW R1200 GS complete with bandana, we have great fun on the road and attract a lot of attention from other road users in Cheshire!”
Now Ronnie has been chosen by motorbike insurance company Bennetts as one of the country’s top five howling Hell’s Angels and will be featured on the company’s website.
