A CAT that had been living on the streets before being taken to the RSPCA in Warrington is looking for a new home.

Peanut, who is a black cat, was taken in by the RSPCA Warrington, Halton and St Helens branch after living on the street for some time.

She was found in a garden trying to fend for herself, extremely underweight and with bald patches in her fur.

Peanut, who was initially very nervous, has now blossomed into a sweet and affectionate cat and is ready to find a new home.

She is very affectionate and can often be found curled up on the lap of a member of staff or a volunteer.

While she mainly enjoys spending her days sleeping in her bed, Peanut will also wander around outside and will need a safe garden to explore away from busy roads and railways.

Peanut would make an ideal companion for a family with older children, or someone wanting some company – but she does have a sensitive stomach so needs someone who will carry on her special diet.

If you think you could be Peanut’s new home, visit the RSPCA Warrington website to apply.
