DELAYS are expected on a major road in south Warrington over the next few days.
This is due to roadworks taking place on a section of London Road.
The work started today, Monday, and is expected to last until Wednesday.
It consists of utility repair and maintenance being carried out by Scottish Power.
The section of London Road impacted will be the part near to the junction of Warren Drive and Dingleway.
Two-way traffic control signals will be in place during the period, with delays expected.
Meanwhile, further down London Road is currently closed of an evening for the next month.
The A49 London Road is closed from its junction with Quarry Lane to its junction with Longwood Road from 7pm to 1am.
This work is scheduled to finish on May 31.
