A SHOPPING centre in town was evacuated this morning.
Those inside Cockhedge Shopping Centre had to leave the building at around 9.05am this morning, Monday.
This was after a fire alarm was sounding, according to a number of shoppers.
Those at the site had to wait outside for around 15 minutes before they were able to re-enter the mall.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue has confirmed that it did not attend the incident.
