RUGBY legend Kevin Sinfield is set to share inspiring stories from his life for one night only at Parr Hall.

The 43-year-old former Leeds Rhinos player is one of the most successful players in rugby league history.

Sinfield is one of only five British players to win the coveted Golden Boot – a prestigious award that is presented to the best player of the year by the International Rugby League.

His talk at Parr Hall in November will explore his career, as well as his lifelong friendship with former teammate, Rob Burrow.

The pair met when they were 14 and 12 respectively and sat side by side in the changing rooms throughout 15 years of rugby.

After Burrow was diagnosed with motor neurone disease in 2019, Sinfield started taking part in endurance challenges to help raise money for charities that support people living with the disease.

Sinfield and his team have raised millions of pounds for MND charities through challenges such as running seven marathons in seven days in 2020.

Throughout his career and fundraising, Sinfield has received three royal honours, including a CBE which he received this year from services to motor neurone disease awareness.

“It’s not just Kevin’s amazing achievements but his incredible mindset and modesty which have made him a legend to many,” said Chris Hodgkinson, event organiser from HC Promotions.

“We’re really excited about bringing Kevin to Warrington as he reflects on his life and career and shares his inspiring stories.”

Sinfield will be at Parr Hall for one night only on Wednesday, November 13 at 7.40pm.

Tickets start from £27.50 and can be purchased here. For more information visit Parr Hall’s website or call 442345.
