FOLLOWING a sold-out show in Prague, The World of Hans Zimmer is coming to Manchester this weekend.

It is touring across Europe until mid-May, with Manchester AO Arena set to host the show on Sunday.

The Academy Award winner’s work highlights include Dune, No Time to Die, Gladiator, The Thin Red Line, As Good as It Gets, Rain Man, The Dark Knight trilogy, Inception, Thelma and Louise, The Last Samurai, 12 Years A Slave, an Top Gun: Maveric.

There are only a few tickets remaining for the more than 30 dates in 13 countries.

The tour will be followed by a further 25 concerts in autumn this year, meaning half a million people will have seen the international hit show.

The World of Hans Zimmer – A Symphonic Celebration, was first performed live in Germany in 2018 and has since toured the world with unbroken success. In both World of Hans Zimmer concert tours, the composer does not perform live on stage himself but participates as the show’s curator and musical director.

Soundtrack conductor Gavin Greenaway, the long-time trusted friend of the Hollywood composer, is now conjuring the magic of Hans Zimmer’s works live for the audience in 2024, along with some of the most outstanding and renowned soloists from Zimmer’s talent pool and the Odessa Orchestra and Friends. The audience will be able to enjoy stunning visual projections of film sequences along with the music.

Zimmer has already energized countless international cinema blockbusters, including “Dune,” “James Bond – No Time to Die,” “The Lion King,” “Gladiator,” “Pirates of the Caribbean,” “The Dark Knight” trilogy, “Interstellar,” “Last Samurai” and “Top Gun: Maverick,” among others.

The tour is presented by Semmel Concerts, RCI Global & Tomek Productions.

It will head across the UK throughout the month, starting at Glasgow OVO Hydro tomorrow, Saturday, then Manchester AO Arena on Sunday, Birmingham on Tuesday, and a spectacular final UK show at London The O2 on Wednesday.
