A DENTAL student from Grappenhall has won a national dental competition.
Vicki Rees, a final year Liverpool dental student, won the Edinburgh Royal College of Surgeons 2023-2024 Dental Clinical Skills Competition Grand Final on Thursday, March 21.
Vicki was chosen to represent Liverpool University and competed with 15 other final year dental students representing universities from across the UK.
She won a £500 Amazon voucher and a Digital SLR camera designed for intraoral photography.
Vicki will sit her final examinations in May and hopes to graduate in July 2024.
Her husband, Elgan Rees, graduated from Liverpool University as a dentist in July 2014.
Vicki and Elgan live in Grappenhall and have a 20 month old daughter, Ada.
