CREWS tackled a fire in a block of flats late last night, Saturday.
Firefighters were called to the incident at Clearwater Quays in Latchford at around 11.20pm.
On arrival, crews discovered a fire in one of the flats in the building.
They led two people to safety who were then given precautionary checks by paramedics.
Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel to extinguish the fire which is believed to have been caused accidentally.
Three fire engines attended from Stockton Heath, Warrington, and Lymm.
