THERE are just 48 hours left to nominate Warrington’s inspirational people, teams and organisations for our annual awards.
The Warrington Guardian Inspiration Awards will be taking place at The Village Hotel on Thursday, April 25 hosted by radio presenter Leanne Campbell.
We will be giving out a dozen awards to Warrington’s most hard working and devoted residents who have shown real bravery, courage and determination.
Nominations close tomorrow – Friday, March 1 – so there’s still time to tell us who you think should win an award.
Richard Duggan, Warrington Guardian editor, said: “Here at the Warrington Guardian reporting on bad news is part of the job but we also take great pride in recognising the positive stories in our community too.
“Our town’s residents and businesses continue to face challenges due to the cost of living crisis and that’s why we believe it’s more important than ever to take time out to shine a spotlight on the inspiring people, teams and organisations in our town who make a difference to the lives of others.
“We’re delighted that our Warrington Guardian Inspiration Awards are making a welcome return for 2024.
“We’ve continued to be overwhelmed by the individual acts of kindness and collective community efforts of others that takes place in our town.
“We look forward to honouring some of Warrington’s most inspirational people and recognising their achievements.”
