A HAPPY and adventurous cat faced being put to sleep when his owner moved away.
But now Patch is looking for his forever home after being cared for by volunteers at Warrington Animal Welfare.
The poor cat was born with part of his rear leg missing, but staff at the shelter, off Slutchers Lane near the town centre, say this does not impact him at all.
Attention loving Patch loves a snuggle or chasing bugs, and it is hoped the perfect owner is out there for him.
The Warrington Animal Welfare team said: “This is Patch, who is just the most beautiful boy.
“Patch was surrendered to Warrington Animal Welfare as his owner was moving away and Patch was facing being put to sleep.
“Patch has part of his rear leg missing from birth and has now had an amputation, but this does not affect him in anyway at all.
“He loves to play out in the garden and have his own cat adventures chasing bugs and leaves, and then cosy afternoons snuggled up on the couch.
“He is such a wonderful boy. He is really friendly, and whoever adopts Patch will be hitting the jackpot.
“Patch is currently residing in one of our fabulous foster homes, where he is the happiest most chilled out boy you could ever imagine.
“If you would like to submit an application to adopt patch and give him the five-star home he deserves, please submit your application.”
