A ‘HANDSOME’ young cat is looking for a new home in Warrington after being released to Warrington Animal Welfare.

The Slutcher’s Lane shelter has posted on Facebook advertising the cat, which has recently been put up for adoption.

Named ‘Moony’, the cat is three and was ‘unhappy in his previous home due to being dominated by one of the other cats’.

The shelter is ideally looking for a home where Moony will be the only cat, and state he ‘particularly enjoys human company’ and ‘has lived with children with no issues’.

The full post went on to say: “Please meet 3 year old Moony who has recently arrived with us. What a lovely young man he is!

“He was sadly unhappy in his previous home due to being dominated by one of the other cats.

“We are looking for a wonderful 5 star home for Moony where he will be an only cat.

“He knows he is extremely handsome and any potential new owner will need to provide this gentle, loving boy with lots of love, cuddles and attention, at all times.

“He particularly enjoys human company and he is looking to recruit a wonderful butler to tend to his every need. He likes a certain food, topped with a lik-e-lix each day, which enables him to maintain his fine figure.

“He has lived with children with no issues, but he isn’t a fan of dogs, so a quiet, calm home would suit him perfectly. If you would like to welcome this stunning feline friend into your home, please submit an application via our website “
