ONE Latchford neighbourhood has been taken over by Christmas lights once again.

Pichael Nook, which is off Nook Lane, in Latchford is the festive site of a stunning Christmas lights display.

This is not the first time that Pichael Nook has been illuminated in this way.

Once again, the person responsible for the illuminations is Craig Middlemore.

In recent years, Craig has taken it upon himself to spread some Christmas cheer around his neighbourhood, with his light displays becoming something of a local tradition.

The display is not just for Craig's personal enjoyment, however, as he is using the display to raise money for a very good cause.

Posting on a JustGiving page, Craig wrote: "This will be our fourth year doing our Christmas display for St Rocco's.

"We have always been big into decorating our home and one year a friend said 'You should do this for charity' - so we did, and continue to with the brilliant support of the guys and girls from St Rocco's."

Craig added: "Lights go live on December 1 at 4.30pm and will run every single night till Christmas Eve.

"It’s not just about donating, please feel free to just come and see the lights - it’s all about spreading the Christmas joy and raising a few quid at the same time."

Speaking to the Warrington Guardian about last year's Christmas display, Craig said that his son, Oakley, is the reason he goes the extra mile with his displays - despite the rising cost of energy, the joy the lights bring to his son is worth it, he said.

Craig's lights will be seen in Pichael Nook, Latchford, until December 24.
