A CARE home which sits on the site of a former pub will have around 100 jobs on offer over the next 12 months.

Grappenhall Manor Care Centre is the latest care facility to open in Warrington South.

It is located on the junction of Stockport Road, Chester Road, and Knutsford Road where the Springbrook once stood.

It officially opened in May.

The ‘state of the art’ home provides residential 24-hour nursing, dementia, and respite care and has 70 bedrooms available, all with ensuite bathrooms.

There are also communal lounges, a fully-equipped hair salon, a nail bar, and fine-dining restaurants.

Warrington South MP Andy Carter recently visited the care home and has since revealed that it is recruiting locally, with 100 jobs expected to be created over the next year.

These jobs will be in multiple roles including nurses, carers, hospitality, housekeeping, wellbeing and activities, maintenance and catering.
