A MEDICAL centre is reporting that patient care is being 'compromised' due to non-emergency vehicles parking in ambulance bays.
Taking to social media, Culcheth Medical Centre explained that there are large signs at the centre indicating that members of the public should never park in the bays that are reserved for ambulances.
The centre also says that ambulance crews often report that their designated space at the medical centre is being used by other vehicles.
Posting online, Culcheth Medical Centre said: "Several inconsiderate people have parked in our ambulance bay over the last few days despite there being a large signpost in front of the space.
"Patient care is being compromised by the space being blocked, as we have to call the ambulance service out several times a week to treat poorly patients and the crew find their space is blocked.
"Please help by thinking about where you leave your vehicle.
"Thank you."
Culcheth Medical Centre is based off Jackson Avenue, and is open five days per week.
The practice is home to four GPs, two of whom are GP partners, and a number of supporting staff members to provide assistance to those who need it.
Culcheth Medical Centre is, according to NHS.uk, currently accepting patients, and its opening hours are as follows:
- Monday-Thursday: 8am-6.30pm
- Friday: 7am-6.30pm
- Saturday and Sunday: Closed
