AMAZON’S Warrington team celebrated one of the biggest deal days of the year with an in-house carnival.
Arguably over-taking black Friday, Prime Day is highly anticipated, and workers at Amazon’s Omega warehouse were not going to let it pass without a lot of fun.
Week-long celebrations commenced after the official two-day event began at midnight last Tuesday, July 11.
Games, giveaways and even a magician was on hand to make it an exciting week for the employees – as a thank you for all their hard work.
Ashleigh Green, a team member at Amazon Warrington who took part in the Prime Day fun, said: “We had a great time celebrating together.
“We appreciated the chance to have fun and bond as a team as we prepared for a busy, rewarding week.”
The popular Prime Day event returned for another year, with all Prime members available to access some of the best deals on some of the most popular brands.
New deals drop every 30 minutes on a large variety of tempting products.
Amazon Warrington general manager Radek Stegbauer added: “Prime Day is an exciting time for customers and colleagues alike, so it is important we set time aside to mark the occasion.
“Our week of fun provided us with an opportunity to celebrate together while delivering for our customers.”
