A PET shop in Culcheth has been named the 'best independent' in Warrington by a trade magazine.

Animal Kingdom Pet Supplies and Raw Food Specialists are based off Church Lane, in Culcheth.

According to the shop's own description, the site is run by 'suppliers of quality food and accessories for your well-loved pets.'

Animal Kingdom is celebrating being named the best independent store for pet supplies in Warrington.

Pet Business World sent mystery shoppers to various locations across Warrington, including to Animal Kingdom.

Following the mystery inspection, Animal Kingdom was rated as five-out-of-five for sales skills, and five-out-of-five for store presentation - which gave the store the maximum overall score of 10-out-of-10.

Posting on social media, Animal Kingdom said: "[We were] recently voted winning independent pet supplies in Warrington by a trade magazine 

"The mystery shopper loved the look and feel of the shop and outstanding customer service - not so sure you would get this level of care and service at major retailers. 

"Myself and Molly pride ourselves on coming up with the best solutions to your pet's needs.
