COOKHOUSE Comedy Club returns this week at Warrington Market with some top drawers stand up comedians – and you could win tickets to the show.

Steve Harris and Phil Chapman are on the bill and ready to entertain the audience from 8pm on Thursday with doors opening at 6.30pm.

The Warrington Guardian has two tickets to give away for Thursday’s event.

Steve has been a stand up comedian for more than 20 years and burst onto the comedy scene by winning the coveted North West Comedian of the Year Award on only his fifth gig.

He has done support slots for Johnny Vegas, Peter Kay and Lee Evans on their UK tours with his confident, observational and physical performances.

Phil is one of the most prolific writers on the circuit ensuring his material is up to date and fresh.

He’s been invited to write for BBC Radio 4’s The News Quiz and BBC Radio 4 Extra’s Newsjack.

The show will be hosted by Brendan Riley with his lively blend of anecdotes, gags and inspired improvisation bringing a refreshing blast of north west humour.

Tickets are priced at £10 and seats are on a first come, first served basis.

Food will be available from Eastern Point and Casa Mexico until 7.30pm.
