A HEALTHCARE company based in Birchwood joined the country's festivities by hosting a Coronation Day party.
C&D Family Care is based in Birchwood, and threw a party to commemorate the crowning of King Charles III.
The event, which took place on Saturday, May 6, was open to elderly users of the service, as well as their friends and families.
C&D Family Care's Birchwood offices can be found off Hamnett Court; the company says: "We specialise in care, home care and daily living assistance to an array of individuals.
"Whether you need daily or weekly assistance due to ageing, illness, recovery, or rehabilitation, our care givers will provide an individualised service that you can trust."
In 2021, the company was rate 'good' by the Care Quality Commission.
Now, the company has provided come Coronation Day cheer for its service users, with a range of activities taking place on the day for the service's users.
Manager of C&D Family Care, Nicola Braide, said: "It was a pleasure being able to organise such a wonderful event for our service users and staff, we all enjoyed celebrating the coronation.
"We had lots of fun singing and dancing and eating ice creams."
The service's senior carer, Jessica Farrington, said: "It was nice to see so many of our service users and their families could make it down for the event and it was lovely celebrating the coronation all together."
Another of the service's carers, Hannah Davies, added: "It was lovely to be a part of such a special day and being able to celebrate it was my service users was amazing."
