A DRAMATIC lorry fire closed the M6 in Warrington this evening, Thursday.
Fire crews were called at around 6.30pm to the incident near to Winwick.
It meant the road was closed northbound resulting in eight mile queues at one point.
Drivers were left with delays of more than one hour at the worst stage.
The road has now been reopened although some delays remains.
