THERE were celebrations across Warrington today to mark the coronation of King Charles III.
Union flags and red white and blue colours were out in force.
Live screenings in the town centre were watched by hundreds.
Those in the Old Market Place were handed crowns to get in the spirit.
While deckchairs were put up in Time Square.
Residents in more than 20 streets applied for formal road closures. Some of the best were in Mill Lane in Great Sankey, Denver Road in Latchford and Coronation Drive in Penketh.
