THE winners of Warrington District Camera Club’s first photographic competition of the year have been revealed.
The competition’s theme was ‘open’ and any genre was acceptable with 60 images in the running for the top prize.
Miles Turnbull came first with Medieval Siblings and third with If you drop, I’ll take it, and Andy Gilbert was second with Battling The Rapids.
Judges awarded very highly commended honours to Adrian Battersby for Geisha Lady, Japan, and highly commended honours to Ian SPrott for Goldfinch and Peter Thirsk for Slater’s Bridge.
Jeff Williams, Peter Thirsk, Bobby Loomba and Ian Sprott were all commended for their entries.
The next competition theme will be transport.
