IRISH comedian Dara Ó Briain is heading to Warrington next year as he returns to the stage following the pandemic.

The Mock the Week star said at the end of his last tour in March 2020, he was ready for a break from the road after performing his Voice of Reason routine, 180 times, over two years.

He would now like to apologise for saying that and will never wish for anything like that again.

He will perform at Parr Hall on March 2.

Expect the usual mix of stories, one-liners and audience teasing while trying not to trip over his words by talking too quickly .

Dara's big break in UK television came in 2003 when he became host of BBC’s The Live Floor Show. This led to a guest slot on Have I Got News for You where he made such an impression that he was invited back four times as guest host.

These days, Dara is probably best known for comedy panel game Mock the Week which he has hosted for an incredible 18 series. Other highlights have included hosting The Apprentice: You’re Fired for three years and heading up BBC Two’s reboot of Robot Wars.

The self-confessed geek also regularly hosts the BAFTA Games Awards and co-hosted Stargazing Live alongside Professor Brian Cox.
