STUDENTS from Priestley Community Sixth Form and College and Warrington and Vale Royal College are coming together to create an exhibition in the town centre.
The exhibition will, fittingly, be on the theme of 'Coming Together', and will be part of the events building up to the Rugby League World Cup.
The tournament will be hosted in Warrington later this year, kicking off in October.
Warrington & Vale Royal College wish to extend a huge congratulations to our ceramics tutor, Huw Phillips, who recently displayed his work in a 3-day exhibition at Waterperry House & Gardens, Oxford. Amazing work, Huw! An inspiration to our students 👏 #wvrcollege #proud pic.twitter.com/8Rk21wxPn1

'Coming Together' was chosen as a theme as it reflects the various nations coming together to compete in the rugby tournament.
Artworks that will be displayed at the exhibit include paintings, drawings, collages and mixed media.
The exhibition will be open from Friday, September 30, to Saturday, November 19 - it will be found at Warrington Market's mezzanine area.
Councillor Tony Higgins, cabinet member for leisure and community, said: "This exhibition is a fantastic way to get our talented local students involved in a landmark event in Warrington, and I’d encourage everyone to pop down to the market and enjoy this fantastic display of art.
"The Rugby League World Cup focuses on ‘The Power of Together’, so it is fitting that students have been able to capture the spirit of the tournament and the sport in this impressive, creative exhibition."
At the end of term our talented artists joined together to create a stunning Summer Show. Their incredible work can be viewed in the video below and in more detail on this specially-created website showcasing their pieces > https://t.co/rmEVNTGZcShttps://t.co/SCX227XbNc

Assistant director for curriculum at Warrington and Vale Royal College, Ben Brady, said: "It has been a great pleasure to support our students in creating artwork for the exhibition.
"They were keen to put their own interpretation into the artwork and the creative flair of the young people of Warrington is clearly abundant."
