A WOMAN selling Redrow's new homes in Great Sankey is close to celebrating 25 years' service with the housebuilder.

Carol Sokol is a sales consultant at the firm and was named regional sales consultant of the year earlier this year.

And the Warrington resident says she is delighted to be 'back home' at The Brook at Taylor's Chase, in Sophia Drive, Great Sankey, where Redrow is building 158 two, three and four-bedroom properties, including 48 starter homes.

"Having a passion for the work you do and the organisation you work for is so important and it's why I've been with Redrow for approaching 25 years," she said.

Carol began her Redrow career as a sales consultant and, other than a period working in the housebuilder's legal team, has stayed in the role she relishes across a number of key developments, including The Hedgerows near Chorley.

She added: "It might simply seem like common sense but the communication we have with customers, from day one right the way through, is so important. That means keeping people informed at every step during what can be a stressful time when moving house.

"Every customer has to be treated like an individual – not a number.

"Being friendly, helpful and always approachable makes that difference while helping buyers along on their journey with Redrow."

All the properties at The Brook at Taylor’s Chase on land at Omega hail from Redrow’s Arts & Crafts inspired Heritage Collection.

They are the first of around 1,000 new homes to be built of the former RAF Burtonwood land which is now home to large businesses such as Amazon, Asda, The Hut Group and Domino's.

Building is also under way for a new green heart of wetlands in the centre of Omega.
