FIRE crews in Lymm rescued a dog which has fallen down the embankment into the Manchester Ship Canal yesterday, Wednesday.
They were called to Warburton Bridge around 3.30pm after Lucy, an English Bull terrier, had fallen in.
So the specialists from the rope rescue unit at Lymm Fire Station used a twin line to perform the rescue and bring the dog back to safety.
Green watch were helped by crews from Greater Manchester.
