TWO men stole a safe containing £10,000 during a raid on a cocktail bar in Culcheth.
Savannah 19 on Common Lane was targeted by a pair of offenders at around 9pm on Sunday, August 19.
The men, who were both wearing hooded jackets, entered the bar during its opening hours before taking a safe in the kitchen containing up to £10,000.

They threw the safe from the top of an outdoor staircase before putting it into a car and fleeing the scene - making off with a week’s takings and customers’ deposits for functions.
Bar owner Steve Wardle said: “Two lads just burst in the door with hoodies on, and they knew exactly where they were going.
“They went straight into the kitchen where the safe was, and went inside a kitchen cupboard - they ripped the door off the cupboard immediately, picked the safe up, ran outside and threw it off the stairs at the top.
“It landed on the floor at the bottom - they ran down, threw it in the back of the car and cleared off.
“We think there was about £10,000 in the safe.
“There was a full week’s takings as well as deposits for functions and a massive float for change.
“They’ve just whipped the lot away - it’s disgusting.”
Steve, who started the business with his mum Sue two years ago, has released CCTV of the raid in an appeal to track down the suspects - who are described as wearing blue pants and black zip-up tops.
He added: “It will affect us massively as we’re still in our infancy, in our first two years of business.
“It’s absolutely shocking because of the knock-on effect on us.
“The forensic officers didn’t find any fingerprints, although one of them wasn’t wearing gloves.
“There are no amenities in the village, like a bank where you can put your takings in gradually or a night safe - it makes Culcheth a bit of an easy target.”
Anyone with information is urged to contact Cheshire Police on 101, quoting incident number IML 159671, or to call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
