WARRINGTON bike riders can take advantage of a new first aid course being organised by the ambulance service.
The North West Ambulance Service has organised First Bike on Scene courses to run over the next six months.
The courses will offer anyone who rides a motorbike tips on how to react and help casualties until emergency services reach the scene.
Shelby Williams, road safety officer, said: "We talk to bikers and regularly attend bike meets in the north west region and many have witnessed accidents or seen the aftermath.
"Many have aid they felt unable to do anything positive at the scene and wished that they had known the basics of first aid to be able to help casualties in some way."
